Gold & silver prices rise

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices continued to climb in Nepal on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola, reaching Rs 259,700, while silver rose by Rs 170 per tola to Rs 4,055.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 259,000 per tola, and silver at Rs 3,885 per tola.

Internationally, gold is being traded at USD 4,330 per ounce and silver at USD 65 per ounce.
