Gold & silver prices rise

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices have increased sharply in the local market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has risen by Rs 5,300 per tola, reaching Rs 292,000 per tola.

Similarly, silver has increased by Rs 190 per tola, now standing at Rs 4,840 per tola.

On the previous day, gold was traded at Rs 286,700 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 4,650 per tola.
