Gold & silver prices fall in Nepal

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold has fallen by Rs 4,000 per tola.

KATHMANDU: The local precious metals market witnessed a notable decline today, with both gold and silver prices dropping sharply.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold has fallen by Rs 4,000 per tola.

The precious metal is now being traded at Rs 298,500 per tola, down from Rs 302,500 on Thursday. Similarly, silver has declined by Rs 355 per tola, now priced at Rs 5,390, compared to Rs 5,745 a day earlier.

The downward trend was also visible on Wednesday, when gold was traded at Rs 302,200 per tola and silver at Rs 5,710 per tola, indicating continued volatility in the domestic bullion market.

On the international market, gold is currently trading at around $4,678 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately $87 per ounce, according to international media reports.
