Gold, silver prices fall

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have dropped, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The price of Chhapawaal gold fell by Rs 1,900, trading at Rs 242,700 per tola on Monday, down from Rs 244,600 on Sunday.

Silver prices also declined, with one tola trading at Rs 3,115, down from Rs 3,135 the previous day.

The association reported that per 10 grams, gold is now priced at Rs 208,075, while silver trades at Rs 2,670.50.
