Gold prices hit all-time high

On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 200,600 per tola, and it rose by Rs 3,000 on Sunday to Rs 203,600 per tola.

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have reached a historic high, continuing their upward trend over the past few days.

On Monday, the price of gold soared to a new peak, setting a record in the Nepalese market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is trading at Rs 205,300 per tola, marking the highest price ever recorded in the country.

On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 200,600 per tola, and it rose by Rs 3,000 on Sunday to Rs 203,600 per tola.

Silver prices have also reached new heights. From Rs 2,425 per tola the previous day, silver rose by Rs 45 on Monday to Rs 2,470 per tola.

The daily record-breaking surge in gold prices is raising concerns among both consumers and traders.

With major festivals approaching, the sharp increase in gold rates has sparked worries about its impact on the market.
