KATHMANDU: The local bullion market witnessed minor fluctuations today compared to last Friday, with gold prices declining while silver recorded a modest increase.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold has decreased by Rs 1,000 per tola.
Today, gold is being traded at Rs 298,900 per tola. In contrast, silver has increased by Rs 25 per tola, reaching Rs 5,300.
Last Friday, gold was traded at Rs 299,900 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,275 per tola.
In the international market, gold is being traded at around USD 4,715 per ounce, while silver is priced at approximately USD 80 per ounce, according to international media reports.
