Gold price surpasses Rs 250,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged past Rs 250,000 per tola on Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold, Silver, and Gems Association, gold prices increased by Rs 2,200 per tola, reaching Rs 250,600.

On Thursday, gold was traded at Rs 248,400 per tola.

Silver prices also saw a notable rise, with the metal increasing by Rs 65 per tola.

On Thursday, silver was traded at Rs 3,280 per tola, while on Friday it reached Rs 3,345 per tola.
