Gold price rises by Rs 2,200

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal has increased compared to last Friday, with one tola rising by Rs 2,200.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, today one tola of gold is valued at Rs 258,800, while silver is priced at Rs 3,825 per tola.

On Friday, gold was traded at Rs 256,600 per tola, and silver at Rs 3,905 per tola.

Internationally, one ounce of gold is currently being traded at USD 4,299, and the same quantity of silver at USD 62.
