Gold price jumps by Rs 1,200 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the local market have increased by Rs 1,200 per tola today.

The price of Chhapawal gold, which was traded at Rs 292,000 per tola last Friday, has now been fixed at Rs 293,200 per tola, according to market rates.

Similarly, silver prices have also risen by Rs 55 per tola.

Silver, which was previously traded at Rs 4,840 per tola on Friday, is now being sold at Rs 4,895 per tola.

In the international market, gold is currently being traded at around USD 4,210 per ounce.
