Gold drops, silver rises

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have seen mixed movements in Nepal today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs 400 per tola, closing at Rs 248,400.

In contrast, silver rose by Rs 60 per tola, reaching Rs 3,280.

Yesterday, gold was traded at Rs 248,800 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 3,220 per tola.

On the international market, one ounce of gold is currently trading at USD 4,154, while silver is priced at USD 53 per ounce.
