Ex-Ministers Istiyak Rai & Pradeep Yadav joins UML

KATHMANDU: Mohammad Istiyak Rai, former minister and General Secretary of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) led by Ashok Rai, has officially joined the CPN-UML.

UML Chair KP Sharma Oli welcomed him at the party office last night.

Alongside Istiyak Rai, another former minister, Pradeep Yadav, who had also come from JSP Nepal, joined UML during the same event.

Both Istiyak Rai and Pradeep Yadav previously served as ministers in KP Sharma Oli’s cabinet.
