Election offices open across Nepal ahead of House polls (photos)

KATHMANDU: Ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 (March 5), election offices have officially opened today across all 165 constituencies in the country.

According to the Election Commission, these offices will handle administrative tasks related to the election process, including candidate nomination registration, complaint hearings, and other preparatory work.

With the simultaneous opening of election offices nationwide, the formal election process has now begun.

The Commission has emphasized that all necessary measures are being accelerated to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful election.

Candidate nominations for direct elections are scheduled to be registered on Magh 6 (Jan 20).
