KJATHMANDU: The Election Commission has launched a toll-free call center to provide free information to voters regarding the upcoming elections.

Voters can now call 1102 to clarify any election-related queries, said Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai.

The call center currently has six desks, which may be increased depending on call volume, to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.

The first caller from Gandaki Province asked whether the recently published Public Service Commission exam code of conduct would affect the exam. Officials confirmed that the exam would not be impacted.

The call center operates from 9 AM to 6 PM and will remain functional from now until the winners of the House of Representatives election on Falgun 21 are issued certificates.
