Durga Prasai’s royalist group heads towards Maoist Party office

KATHMANDU: A royalist group led by Durga Prasai staged a protest in Kathmandu’s Tinkune area, following which they headed towards the office of the CPN (Maoist Centre) in Parisdanda.

On Friday, the royalist group organized the demonstration in Tinkune, where they vandalized homes and set fires during the protest.

As the situation turned violent, the police resorted to firing tear gas and even fired shots into the air.

After the disruption of the protest, the royalists moved towards the Maoist Centre’s office located in Parisdanda.
