Diver’s body found; search continues for another

KATHMANDU: A team of 35 personnel led by Senior Superintendent of the Armed Police Force, Netra Karki, has been deployed to search for the security personnel who went missing during a disaster rescue drill in the Saptakoshi River on Thursday.

According to Yograj Khatiwada, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the body of Haridev Rajbanshi, an Armed Police Force constable from Jhapa, was recovered earlier today on the banks of the Saptakoshi River.

The search operation continues for Suraj Saud, another missing constable from Doti.
