Cricketer Aarif Sheikh promoted to Assistant Head Constable

KATHMANDU: Nepal national cricket team member and Nepal Police Club captain Aarif Sheikh has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Head Constable.

The promotion was conferred during a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Police Headquarters.

The insignia was presented by Executive Director of the National Police Academy, Additional Inspector General Siddhi Bikram Shah.

Aarif, who was serving as a constable, was elevated through a special promotion in recognition of his consistent outstanding performances for both the national team and Nepal Police Club.
