KATHMANDU: The Special Court has granted permission to extend the custody of businessmen Deepak Bhatt and Sulabh Agrawal, who are currently in detention over a money laundering case, for an additional 12 days for further investigation.
A joint bench of judges Hemanta Rawal, Dilliratna Shrestha, and Bidur Koirala issued the order allowing continued investigation.
This marks the fifth extension for Bhatt and the sixth for Agrawal since their arrests.
Authorities are continuing their probe into allegations related to financial irregularities and money laundering activities involving the two businessmen.
