Citizens Capital declares 16% cash dividend at 19th AGM
The AGM approved the distribution of a 16% cash dividend from the profits of the fiscal year 2081/82.
KATHMANDU: Citizens Capital Limited held its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the company’s registered office in Batule Ghar, Dillibazar, Kathmandu.
The AGM approved the distribution of a 16% cash dividend from the profits of the fiscal year 2081/82.
The meeting also approved the company’s annual report of the Board of Directors, auditor’s report, and the financial statements for the fiscal year ending Ashadh 2082, including balance sheet, profit and loss account, and cash flow statements.
Additionally, the AGM appointed auditors for the fiscal year 2082/83 and fixed their remuneration.
Citizens Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Citizens Bank, has been granted permission by the Nepal Securities Board to conduct activities directly involving investors, including managing collective investment funds, underwriting and managing securities issuance, portfolio management, institutional advisory services, acting as security guarantor (underwriter), share registrar, and managing demat accounts.
The company’s ownership includes the Employees’ Provident Fund and prominent industrialists and businesspersons as co-investors.
The company’s registered office is located at Batule Ghar, Dillibazar, Kathmandu, with Rajendra Lal Shrestha serving as Chair and Sabir Bade Shrestha as Chief Executive Officer.
