Chitwan Rhinos arrange free buses for fans to NPL matches

KATHMANDU: Cricket Club Chitwan Rhinos has arranged free bus services to transport its fans from Chitwan to Kathmandu on match days.

The franchise team of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) will provide six buses to carry supporters who have purchased online tickets.

For morning matches, buses will depart from Chitwan at 5:00 AM, and for afternoon matches, at 9:00 AM.

Fans will be dropped at the Tribhuvan University ground, and buses will return to Chitwan after the matches, Chitwan Rhinos chairman Aayush Neupane said.

The Rhinos’ first match is being played today against Karnali Yaks.

Their upcoming fixtures include:

  • Mangsir 4, 4:00 PM: Lumbini Lions

  • Mangsir 10, 4:00 PM: Biratnagar Kings

  • Mangsir 12, 11:45 AM: Kathmandu Gorkhas

  • Mangsir 16, 11:45 AM: Janakpur Bolts

  • Mangsir 18, 4:00 PM: Sudurpashchim Royals

  • Mangsir 20, 3:30 PM: Pokhara Avengers

Further matches will be scheduled based on the points table.

Ahead of the games, flags, banners, stickers, and other fan decorations supporting Chitwan Rhinos have appeared across Chitwan and surrounding districts.
