KATHMANDU: China successfully launched its new Earth observation satellite, Tianhui-7, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the country’s northwest on Tuesday.
The Long March-4B rocket lifted off at 12:12 PM Beijing time, placing the satellite into its designated orbit.
Tianhui-7 will be primarily used for geographic mapping, land resource surveys, and scientific research.0
This marks the 622nd mission of the Long March carrier rocket series.
