Canada & Bosnia split points in Toronto

KATHMANDU: Hosts Canada were held to a 1-1 draw by Bosnia and Herzegovina in the third match of the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the opening Group B fixture at Toronto Stadium on Saturday.
Bosnia and Herzegovina took the lead in the 21st minute when Jovo Lukić headed home to give his side a 1-0 advantage. The visitors maintained their lead until halftime and looked set to secure all three points.
However, Canada fought back in the second half and found the equalizer in the 78th minute through Kyle Larin, who scored to level the match at 1-1.

Later on Saturday, hosts United States will face Paraguay in the fourth match of the tournament and the opening Group D encounter. The match is scheduled to kick off at 6:45 p.m. local time.
