Bhutan PM congratulates Rabi & Balen

KATHMANDU: Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay has extended his congratulations to Rabi Lamichhane and Balen Shah for their decisive victories in Nepal’s recent general elections.
Through a message on social media, PM Tobgay also commended the people of Nepal for a successful election process.
“Congratulations to Mr. Balen Shah and Mr. Rabi Lamichhane on their landslide victory in Nepal’s general elections. I also congratulate the Nepali people for a successful election,” he wrote.
The Bhutanese leader expressed hope for closer cooperation with the incoming Nepali government, emphasizing the goal of strengthening the warm friendship between the two neighboring countries. “I look forward to deepening the cordial ties between our nations,” he added.
