Arsenal held 1–1 by Brentford, Manchester City title race heats up

KATHMANDU: Arsenal were held to a 1–1 draw by Brentford in the English Premier League on Thursday, keeping the title race alive.

Noni Madueke gave Arsenal the lead, but Brentford responded through a Lewis Potter strike to salvage a point.

The result leaves Arsenal at the top with 57 points, just four ahead of second-placed Manchester City, who have 53 points.

Aston Villa sit third with 50 points, while Brentford are seventh on 40 points.

With only 12 matches remaining in the league, the race for the Premier League crown remains wide open.
