Two judges recommended for appointment to High Court

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Judicial Council today recommended the name of Chief Registrar Lal Bahadur Kunwar and Registrar Nirmala Poudel at the Supreme Court for appointment as Judges of the High Court.

The meeting chaired by Chief Justice and Council Chair Bishwombhar Prasad Shrestha made this recommendation.

Accordingly, the Council has assigned the responsibility to Kunwar at the High Court Patan and to Poudel at the High Court Pokhara.

Likewise, the Council meeting today has transferred Judge Chandra Bahadur Saru of Butwal bench under the High Court Tulasipur to the Nepalgunj bench under the High Court Tulasipur.
