4 held for foreign employment fraud

KATHMANDU: Four persons have been arrested on the charge of defrauding people by promising foreign employment in different with attractive salaries.

A team of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, nabbed Suman Shahi, 29, of Sindhupalchowk, Bed Bahadur Sunuwar, 47 of Ramechhap, Anil Agrawal, 45, of Jhapa and Bibek Adhikari, 37, of Tanahu from different places.

They had collected around three million rupees from the victims promising jobs in different countries, Croatia, Switzerland, Austria and France.

All the arrested ones have been sent to Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal, for necessary investigation and action, according to Police Headquarters News Room.
