KATHMANDU: Nepal’s largest automobile exhibition, NADA Auto Show 2025, concluded on Sunday at Bhrikutimandap with a record-breaking footfall, marking it as the most successful edition in its history.

The 17th edition of the show wrapped up amid a special closing ceremony graced by Minister for Health and Population Pradeep Paudel.

The grand exhibition was inaugurated earlier by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

According to the organizers, the six-day event drew an unprecedented 176,789 visitors, setting a new benchmark for the country’s automobile expos.

The show attracted massive attention with futuristic displays such as flying cars, robotic innovations, and the latest electric vehicles (EVs) alongside newly launched models and captivating stalls.

Despite a sluggish automobile market, the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NAAN) expressed confidence that the exhibition would not only rejuvenate the industry but also contribute to revitalizing the national economy.

In a historic move, the association announced its transformation into the Federation of NADA Automobiles Nepal, with the proposal set for ratification during a special general assembly on Bhadra 24.

The decision has been hailed as a landmark step ahead of NADA’s golden jubilee celebrations.

Outstanding participants were honored with awards across multiple categories:

  • Best Two-Wheeler StallRoyal Enfield, Alpha Automotive Pvt. Ltd.

  • Best Light Commercial StallMax-Shree Auto

  • Best Supporting StallHilltop Pvt. Ltd.

  • Best Banking & Insurance PartnerGlobal IME Bank Ltd.

The exhibition also featured a series of daily interactive sessions on critical themes, including International Auto Trade Dialogue, Future of Electric Mobility, Stability in Credit Policy, Flying Car Technology, Road & Transport Development, and Made in Nepal.

Experts emphasized the importance of these discussions in shaping policies and advancing the sector’s growth.

NADA President Karan Chaudhary extended gratitude to all stakeholders, exhibitors, and visitors for making the event a resounding success.

Adding to its social impact, a blood donation campaign was jointly organized with the Lions Club of Kathmandu during the show.
