KATHMANDU: As the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) is going to install new conductor wires in various places of Kathmandu Valley, electricity will be interrupted.

The Project Management Directorate, under the operation of 132 kV Transmission Conductor Upgrading Project, has begun replacing old wires with new ones from Syuchatar Substation to Matatirtha Substation, covering the 132 kV voltage level transmission lines.

As a result, power interruptions are expected on May 11 and 13 at Hasantaar Feeder, Khadka Gaun Feeder, and Thanakot Feeder.

Additionally, power disruptions are also anticipated on May 15 and 17, along with Thanakot Feeder, at Balambu Feeder.

The authority has informed that power will be cut off from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the specified days at these locations.
