KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Mukti Kranti (National Liberation Revolution) organized a cultural resistance program to establish a federal state of Nepal.

The National Liberation Revolution organized a cultural resistance in Maitighar Mandala on Sunday.

Various communities showcased their cultural instruments during the resistance.

Leaders and activists such as Rajendra Mahato and Suman Sayami were present at the program.

During the event, activist Suman Sayami stated, “From historical times to the present, the state, through its colonial and now neo-colonial regimes, owes an apology for cultural aggression against indigenous nations.” He mentioned that the program was organized to demand an apology from the state for cultural encroachment on indigenous nations.

Along with Rajendra Mahato, there was a clash with the police after they tried to break the prohibited area during the demonstration organized on April 6 Bhadrakali.
