Suhang takes lead in Ilam by 5,000 votes

KATHMANDU: In Ilam Constituency No. 2, the candidate from the CPN-UML, Suhang Nemwang, has been increasing his lead in the vote count.

So far, Nemwang has garnered 13,900 votes, while the Nepali Congress candidate, Damber Khadka, has received 8,914 votes. This indicates a lead of 4,986 votes for Nemwang over Khadka.

Similarly, the independent identity-centric candidate, Dakendra Thegim, who had previously reduced the lead against Khadka, has also seen an increase in his vote count. He has received a total of 8,285 votes so far, with a gap of 629 votes between him and Nemwang.

Furthermore, the candidate from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Milan Limbu, has been restricted to 1,945 votes.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s candidate, Laxmi Gurung, has so far only garnered a mere 79 votes, failing to even reach the 100-vote mark.
