Bajhang: Bail of 8 people including CPN S confiscated

KATHMANDU: In the by-election of Bajhang State Assembly-1, the bail of 8 people including CPN S have been confiscated.

CPN-UML has been elected among the candidates of 11 political parties who participated in the by-election.

Except for the Congress and the Maoist Center, the bonds of all the candidates of the other parties have been confiscated.

Out of the 30,328 eligible voters, 29,704 votes were approved.

Eight candidates failed to get 10 percent of the votes and their bail was forfeited.

Dil Bahadur Singh, the candidate from the Unified Socialist Party, received only 2,514 votes.

Similarly, while Kishor Kumar Khadka of RPP got 242 votes, other candidates did not get even 50 votes.
