Two dead, 13 injured in Palpa Jeep accident
Thirteen other individuals were injured in the accident, with three of them in critical condition, according to police reports.
KATHMANDU: Two people, including a child, died in a Bolero Jeep accident in Palpa.
According to the police, 13 other people were injured in the accident.
Information Officer of the District Police Office Palpa, Sugandha Shrestha, reported that a jeep accident involving vehicle Lu 1 J 3324, traveling from Arunkhola in Nawalpur District to Nisdi Rural Municipality-4 of Palpa, resulted in the deaths of 6-year-old Rajiv Sunari and 20-year-old Tejan Somai, both residents of Nisdi Rural Municipality-4.
The victims succumbed to their injuries last night while receiving treatment.
Thirteen other individuals were injured in the accident, with three of them in critical condition, according to police reports.
The police further stated that the condition of ten other passengers, including the jeep driver, is stable.
The injured are currently receiving medical care at Nawalparasi Hospital, as per the Palpa District Police Office.
