IME honored by NRB for leading remittance contributions
In a special ceremony organized by Nepal Rastra Bank on Friday, Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari presented a commendation letter to IME Limited's Chief Executive Officer, Khilendra Paudel, acknowledging the company's achievement.
KATHMANDU: IME Limited has been honored for remitting the highest amount among remittance companies by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on the occasion of the central bank’s 69th anniversary.
During the fiscal year 2079/80, IME Limited successfully remitted a remarkable 27.5 percent of total remittances, surpassing all other remittance companies in the country.
In a special ceremony organized by Nepal Rastra Bank on Friday, Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari presented a commendation letter to IME Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Khilendra Paudel, acknowledging the company’s achievement.
The commendation letter recognizes IME Limited’s significant contribution to the overall economic stability, social and economic improvement, as well as external sector balance through its remittance services.
Khilendra Paudel, while accepting the commendation, expressed his enthusiasm to further enhance IME’s remittance services, ensuring customers receive efficient, secure, and modern fintech-enabled remittance solutions.
Nepal Rastra Bank has recognized and honored IME Limited alongside other banks and remittance companies for their exceptional contributions to remittance inflows during the central bank’s annual celebration.
