Gold prices rose again

KATHMANDU: On the final day of the Nepalese business week, the price of gold rose dramatically.

The price of Chhapawal gold, which was trading at 135,800 rupees per tola on Thursday, rose by 1,400 rupees per tola to 137,200 rupees per tola today.

The price of Tejabi gold has also gone up. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of the Tejabi gold tola has risen by 1,400 rupees to 136,550 rupees per tola.

The price of silver has gone up by Rs 20 per tola.

On Thursday, silver was trading at Rs 1,655 a tola; today, it is trading at Rs 1,675.
