Electricity Authority employee electrocuted on duty

KATHMANDU: An employee of the Electricity Authority of Surkhet died due to electrocution.

Bishal KC, aged 28 and hailing from Birendranagar Municipality-3, Tatapani, lost his life due to electrocution.

The incident occurred while he was engaged in repairing electrical infrastructure in Barahtal Rural Municipality-8, Kunathari.

Beni Nepali, the Information Officer of Electricity Authority Surkhet, confirmed that despite receiving immediate medical attention, KC passed away at the state hospital while undergoing further treatment.”
