Citizens Bank announces special plans on the occasion of its 17th anniversary
As part of the scheme, customers using debit/credit cards will receive a cashback of Rs 170 at 17% or more on transactions of Rs 1000 or above conducted through POS machines and online platforms.
KATHMANDU: In celebration of its 17th anniversary on April 19th, Citizens Bank International Limited has unveiled enticing plans aimed at promoting digital banking services.
The bank has introduced significant discounts on various service facilities, which will be applicable for a month, starting from April 13th to May 13th.
As part of the scheme, customers using debit/credit cards will receive a cashback of Rs 170 at 17% or more on transactions of Rs 1000 or above conducted through POS machines and online platforms.
Additionally, customers who opt for payment via QR code scanning through Citizens Smart will also enjoy a cashback of Rs 170 at 17% or more on transactions of Rs 500 or higher, the bank announced.
To encourage the use of e-com cards, another form of digital payment, the bank will offer the cards free of charge to clients who apply during the plan period.
Similarly, the bank has set up free demat accounts for consumers throughout the plan time. The bank has also announced that mobile banking clients would receive a one-time discount of Rs 150 for activating the service during the plan term.
Citizens Bank International Limited has been providing modern banking services to 1.746 thousand customers through its 190 branches, 153 ATMs and 98 branchless banking units spread across the country.
Citizens Bank International Limited, which is currently providing its services in 55 districts, will provide services in 60 districts of the country by expanding 7 more branches this financial year.
