KATHMANDU: Today, Nepal Police conducted an operation targeting hooliganism and illegal weapons in the Kapan area, leading to the arrest of 28-year-old Prashant Parangdewa Limbu from Phungling, Taplejung.

According to Police Superintendent Nawaraj Adhikari, spokesperson for the District Police Complex Kathmandu, Limbu was detained on charges related to recent incidents of hooliganism and instilling fear in the community in the Kapan area.

During the operation, police recovered a bladed pistol, two sharp knives, an iron hammer, two mobile phones, and an iPhone from Limbu.

The arrested individual is currently under investigation.
