KATHMANDU: The ruling Maoist Centre is holding a meeting of its Standing Committee today.

The meeting has been called to be held at the party central office Parisdanda after 11 am.

In the meeting, there will be a discussion on various issues such as the division of work of office bearers and central leaders, the constitution of the party, the preparation of the Himal-Pahad-Terai campaign conducted by the party.

It is said that the by-elections to be held on the Baisakh 15 (April 27), the political situation after the formation of the new power coalition and some current issues will also be discussed.

Earlier, the Maoists had postponed the standing committee meeting called on Falgun 28 (March 11).
