Maoist Centre begins consultation meeting for Madhesh State

KATHMANDU: The consultation meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) for the Madhesh State has begun in Bardibas, Mahottari.
The two-day meeting includes participation from central office bearers, central members working in the Madhesh State, and state officials.
In the opening remarks, party chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ emphasized that there is no alternative to strengthening and unifying the party.
He mentioned that transformation is possible and that there is no other option. “When the Maoists weaken, the issues of change are reversed, and the constitution comes under attack,” he stated, adding, “To protect change, we must move forward with solid unity.” He also shared plans to move ahead with the party’s reorganization and mass mobilization programs.
The Maoist Centre has already completed consultation meetings in Bagmati, Kathmandu Valley Special State, Contact Coordination State, Gandaki, Sudurpashchim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Koshi States, as well as with the Central Discipline Commission, Election Commission, and Accounts Commission.
