KATHMANDU: The ruling CPN-UML has called upon political parties to join Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s current government.

In a Secretariat meeting held at the party’s central office in Chyasal this morning, the decision was made to appeal to other parties for their support in the five-party government.

Following the meeting, UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel stressed that the coalition, under PM Dahal’s leadership, aims to turn public disillusionment into hope while safeguarding the nation’s interests and independence.

Pokharel expressed confidence that this collective effort will bring positive outcomes for the country’s independence, development, and prosperity.

Additionally, he announced that the 29th Secretariat meeting of the UML will feature a special program on Baisakh 10 (April 22), commemorating the party’s 75th anniversary.
