Public holiday tomorrow in Gandaki
The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers has issued a notice stating that all government offices, educational institutions and public institutions across the State will remain closed on Friday.
KASKI: A public holiday has been announced in Gandaki State tomorrow to mark the Gandaki State Government Establishment Day.
The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers has issued a notice stating that all government offices, educational institutions and public institutions across the State will remain closed on Friday.
Spokesperson of the Office Praveen Dhakal shared that as per the decision of the State Council of Ministers, a notice regarding the holiday has been published in the State Gazette.
The day the first chief minister of the State, Prithvi Subba Gurung, assumed office after the first State government was formed through the election of the provincial assembly is observed as the establishment day of the government every year.
On the Establishment day, the State government is scheduled to organize a variety of events including a morning procession, foundation day celebration main programme and an illumination in the evening.
