Dhakal couple dies after bike plunges in Karnali
They were heading from Achham to Bhurigaon in Bardiya.
KATHMANDU: A couple from Panchadewal Binayak of Achham died in a motorcycle accident in Kailali.
Khakendra Dhakal and his wife Maisra Dhakal of Panchadewal Binayak Municipality-1 Kuika perished on Wednesday evening at Pitmari of the Kuine Chisapani road section in Mohanyal Rural Municipality-7, Kailali.
The Dhaka couple’s motorcycle (Bhe 13 P 1074) plunged into the Karnali River two hundred meters below the road.
They were heading from Achham to Bhurigaon in Bardiya.
Both persons who plunges into the river at 7 p.m. on Wednesday were retrieved using a motor boat and raft. The deceased’s body has been stored at Tikapur Hospital, according to the Chisapani region police office.
Dhakal’s two boys and one daughter reside in Bhurigaon, Bardiya, while he ran an electrical store in Binayak Bazar, Achham.
The deceased’s father, Motiram Dhakal, perished in a bus accident in Achham five years ago.
