FA Cup: Chelsea beat Preston 4-0

KATHMANDU: Chelsea won the FA Cup third round.

Chelsea beat Preston 4-0 at home on Saturday.

All four Chelsea goals came in the second half. Chelsea advanced to the fourth round with an easy victory over a title club.

In the 58th minute, Armando Broja scored to give Chelsea the lead. Chelsea’s advantage was extended in the 66th minute by captain Thiago Silva.

Raheem Sterling made it 3-0 three minutes later. Sterling scored from 20 yards out on a free kick.

Chelsea won by a huge margin when Enzo Fernandez scored 5 minutes before the end of the game.

Chelsea’s second-half effort was outstanding. Chelsea played a physical battle against the visiting team. When Preston appeared fatigued in the second half, Chelsea scored four goals.
