Bajhang by-election report presented to State Chief
Premraj Bhatta, the head of the State Election Office, submitted the report to the state chief today on behalf of the Election Commission, as per the regulations outlined in the State Assembly Member Election Act 2074.

KATHMANDU: A report about the April 27 by-election of the State Assembly (SA) in Bajhang 1(A) has been presented to Sudurpaschim State Chief, Najir Miya.
State Election Office Chief, Premraj Bhatta, today presented the report to the State Chief today.
The document was presented in accordance with the Election to the Members in State Assembly Act-2074 BS.
The by-poll was warranted in Bajhang following the demise of SA member Prithvi Bahadur Singh in a road accident last June.
He was from the Nepali Congress and the by-election was won by CPN (UML) candidate Daman Bahadur Bhandari.
