One dies of drowning in Taplejung

KATHMANDU: A 22-year-old, Mukesh Sahi of Malta Town, Bengal, India, who worked at Sanima Hydro Power drowned in the Tamor River located in Taplejung, Phungling Municipality-2.

On Sunday, He drowned while swimming in the river and was rushed to the district hospital for treatment.

Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, Mukesh Sahi succumbed to the incident.

The police have initiated the necessary investigation into the matter.
