KATHMANDU: Everest Bank Limited (EBL) Manigram branch in coordination with its State Office Lumbini organized a Financial Literacy Program &  also handed over 55 QR Codes to the drivers associated with M/s. Nepal Auto Tempo & E Rickshaw Yatayat Pvt Ltd.

Conducted in chairmanship of Mrs. Jageshwor Devi Chaudhary Deputy Mayor of Tilottama Municipality Mrs. Chaudhary stated that the financial literacy & QR code distribution shall help the locals of Manigram to understand banking & its easy access to the society while Mr. Khaling CEO of the bank stated that distribution of more than 55 QR Codes to the drivers of tempo & e-rickshaw shall enable them for promotion of their business, cashless transactions & assure such programs shall be organized regularly. Further, he stated that bank shall always be upfront in helping & developing the entrepreneurs.

Mr. Satendra Raj Subedi Head Nepal Rastra Bank Siddharthanagar, Bhairahawa & Mr. Puspa Raj Uprety Head-Marketing & Institutional Deposit Department of EBL conducted the financial literacy-rational program females entrepreneurs of the Lumbini Krishi Tatha Thok Upaj Bazar, Tillitoma-5, Manigram & stated that the habit of saving shall be helpful in the future to overcome contingent difficulties.

Further, the QR Code was distributed in coordination with FonePay wherein Mr. Diwas Sapkota CEO of FonePay was also present in the event.

Mr. Ramesh Dumre Chair of ward no 5 Tilottama Municipality, Mr. Seshkanta Bhusal, President & Mr. Khadga Bahadur KC Secretary of M/s. Nepal Auto Tempo & E-Rickshaw Yatayat Pvt Ltd, Tilottama, Mr. Shanker Pokharel, Head-Digital Banking, Mr. Harish Acharya Chief Manager, Mr. Lava Prasad Kuikel State Manager Lumbini State of the bank, Mr. Bimal Bhusal Branch Manager of Manigram Branch & other senior officials of the bank along with other dignities of the society were present in the event.
