Buying/selling of goats and chyangra for Dashain begins (photos)

KATHMANDU: Food management and trading company has started selling goats and Chyangra (Himalaayan Goat) for Dashain.

The selling of goats and Chyangra from various sections of the country has begun.

The price of goats and Chyangra has also been established by the corporation. The company will sell alive goats for 680 per kilogram and Chayngra for 1,260 per kilogram. Customers will receive a 10 per kg discount on that price.

Sharmila Neupane, the company’s information officer, stated that the sale of khasiboka and changra has begun at 8 a.m. from the Bagmati regional office in Thapathali.

The company has brought Chyangra from Makwanpur, Dang and Kailali to goats and from Rasuwa.

The company has been selling gpats and Chyangra in small quantities to prevent imbalance in consumer prices.

The company is preparing to sell 2000 goats and 1000 Chyangra this year.
