KATHMANDU: Bachan Bahadur Singh, who had registered his nomination for the chairmanship of CPN-UML Sudurpaschim, has withdrawn his candidacy.

Previously, Kamal Prasad Timilsina, the contender for chairperson, withdrew his candidacy.
The leaders unanimously agreed to appoint Krishna Prasad Jaishi of Achham as chairman. However, Bharat Saud of Jaisi and Acham’s candidacy for chairperson survives.
The leaders stated that talks with Saud are also ongoing.
Bhim Rawal, the leader, stated his support for Saud.
