Timilsina withdraws candidacy, united against Bhim Rawal

KATHMANDU: Kamal Timilsina, who had nominated the UML for Sudurpaschim State Chair, has withdrew his candidacy.

Timilsina stated that he prepared the ground for the appointment of the state committee’s leadership.

He said – ‘We are concluding the session by consensus. I withdrew my candidacy for the greater good of the party.

Timilsina stated that conversations with other chairperson contenders are ongoing in order to obtain an agreement on the name Krishna Prasad.

Despite the fact that Timilsina’s president has dropped his candidacy, Bharat Saud and Bachchan Singh have not.

For the new leadership of the state committee, the presidium has proposed a preliminary draft for the consent of Krishna Prasad Jaisi as the Chair, Kali Bahadur Shah as the vice chair, Ran Bahadur Chand as the secretary and Nepal Chaudhary and Kalsa Mahara as the deputy secretaries.
