According to the department, in the afternoon there will be a general shower in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki States and partial to normal showers in the remaining areas.
There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki States and few places of remaining States.
Heavy rain is possible in one or two areas of Koshi, Madhesh, and Gandaki states. Storms are also possible in one or two Terai areas of Lumbini, Madhesh, and Koshi States.
Across the country, sky will be partly to partly cloudy tonight. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as one or two other locations across the country.
According to the agency, significant rain is possible in one or two areas of Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati states.
