Federal becomes 1st reinsurance broker in Nepal to obtain ISO 9001:2015 certification

KATHMANDU: Federal Reinsurance Brokers Limited (FRBL) has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the first reinsurance broker in Nepal to be awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification.

The company has achieved the same under the category of life and non-life insurance and reinsurance broker services.

This accomplishment underscores FRBL’s commitment to exceptional reinsurance brokerage and allied services, recognized under globally acclaimed quality standards.

The certification was officially handed over by Prakash Poudel, Country Director of United Registrar of Systems (URS), to the chairman of FRBL Mahesh Kumar Agrawal during the ceremonial event held at FRBL’s headquarters in Kathmandu on August 27, 2023.

The occasion was graced by FRBL’s Board members, key leadership team, employees, and representatives from URS Nepal. Prakash Poudel extended his heartfelt congratulations to FRBL on this remarkable achievement. He emphasized the significance of the ISO 9001:2015 certification, highlighting its role in ensuring operational excellence, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
